Arriving Home

Choose your character. [[Lottie]] [[Mum]] [[Dad]] [[Cat]]

Lottie is traveling home from university, the car packed high with all her things. She is getting closer to home and the music you wonder weither she should still have her music blarring out of the car. [[Turn music off]] [[Keep music on]]

Mum is waiting at home for Lottie to arrive. She decides to pass the time by. [[Starting to make tea]] [[Cleaning the house]]

Dad is chilling after a long day at work, he has two favourite ways to enjoy his evening. [[Light Fire]] [[Watch TV]]

Tiddles the cat lay on the sofa, no care for the world and enjoying the peace and quiet. Something wakes Tiddles up. [[Wants food]] [[Wants to sit on Dad's lap]]

Lottie turns down the music and rolls into her parents drive safely. [[Next->Lottie Arrive]]

CRASH you hit the gate post. [[Next->Lottie Arrive]] (set: $broken to "yes")

(if: $mum is "played")[[[Next->Mum Played Greet]]] (else:)[Lottie waits at the door, hoping her parents are in. [[Next->Lottie Greet]]] (set: $knock to "yes")

She comes to a stop and secures the car, then heads up to the front door. [[Knock on door]] [[Try handle]]

(if: $knock is "no")[Lottie lets herself into the house and finds Mum in the kitchen. "Do you think you could give me hand move stuff inside?" "I shall be right there" [[Next->Mum helps]]] (else:)[Lottie waits for the door to be opened, it's opened by Dad. "Did you want a hand moving everything inside?" "That would be awesome, thanks Dad" [[Next->Dad helps]]]

Mum puts on a leg of lamb (it's a special occation Lottie coming home) and starts to peel some potatoes. [[Next->Mum Arrive]] (set: $cooking to "chopping")

Mum decides to do some light cleaning around the house. [[Next->Mum Arrive]] (set: $clean to "yes")

Lottie still hasn't arrived, what should Mum do? (if: $clean is "yes")[ [[Start making tea]].] (else:)[ [[Continue making tea]].]

Mum puts the potatoes in the pan to simmer. [[Next->Mum Greet]] (set: $cooking to "boiling")

(if: $knock is "yes")[The doorbell goes and Mum turns to make to get the door, leaving the hobs to simmer. [[Next->Mum Gets Door]]] (elseif: $knock is "no")[Lottie walks into the kitchen, you turn around and give her a big hug. Going over to the firepalace Dad finds some of the wood lying around and starts to places logs in a tidey pile ready for it to be lit. (set: $fire to "wood") [[Next->Dad Arrive]]

Dad slumps onto the sofa and turns on the TV. It's rather loud as it needs to drown out the noise from the kitchen. (set: $TV to "on") [[Next->Dad Arrive]]

Mum makes her way outside and they both stare at the car. [[Next->Lottie Move]] (set: $cooking to "chopping") (set: $helped to "mother")

"Well where do we start" (if: $helped is "mother")[Mum] (else:)[Dad] asks. I think I should grab. [[The goldfish]] [[The boot]]

(if: $knock is "yes" and $cooking is "boiling")[It isn't long before the door is opened by Mum, ushering Lottie into the house. "Hi Mum, is it possible to have some help moving things into the house?" "Your Dad might be free" replys Mum who rushes back to the kitchen. [[Next->Dad helps]]] (elseif: $knock is "no" and $cooking is "boiling")[The door opens and Lottie lets herself in, going into the Kitchen Mum is in full swing of getting tea ready. Lottie wonders into the lounge to find Dad rather than disterbing Mum. "Could you give me a hand move stuff inside?" "Sure just give me a minute" [[Next->Dad helps]]] (elseif: $knock is "yes" and $cooking is "chopping")[It isn't long before the door is opened by Dad, "Did you need a hand moving things inside?". "That would be great! Thanks Dad." [[Next->Dad helps]]] (elseif: $knock is "no" and $cooking is "chopping")[ The door opens and Lottie lets herself in, going into the Kitchen Mum is just starting to make tea. "Hi Mum, is it possible to have some help moving things into the house?" "Sure I will be right out." [[Next->Mum helps]] ]

Mum heads to the door and opens it. Lottie has arrived, "Lottie how great to see you, do you need a hand with the car"

Tiddles jumps down from the compfy sofa and makes his way to the food bowl, it's empty. (set: $catfood to "empty") [[Next->Cat Arrive]]

Tibbles sees a more comfortable space on the sofa, a nice warm human lap. Making his way slowely over he plonks himself onto it. (set: $lap to "occupied") [[Next->Cat Arrive]]
